S’mores Old Fashioned – A Campfire in a Glass Mocktail by Happy Valley Tea Company


You know that magical moment when the marshmallow is perfectly golden—right before it bursts into flames and you’re frantically blowing on it? That’s the vibe of our S’mores Old Fashioned. Rich, smoky black tea meets velvety chocolate and toasted marshmallow sweetness, all without having to smell like a campfire for the rest of the week. Slip into a flannel, put on some cozy tunes, and sip your way to gooey, chocolate-marshmallow bliss.

How to Make It:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Sachet Happy Valley Tea Co. Old Fashioned black tea blend

  • 4 oz hot water

  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

  • 1 tsp cocoa powder or 0.5 oz chocolate syrup

  • Mini marshmallows (for garnish)

  • Crushed graham crackers (for garnish)

  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Steep the Old Fashioned  in 4 oz hot water for 5 minutes, then strain.

  2. While warm, stir in cocoa powder or chocolate syrup and honey/maple syrup. Let cool to room temperature.

  3. Prepare a short glass by lightly wetting the rim and dipping it in crushed graham crackers.

  4. Fill glass with ice, pour in your cooled chocolate-tea mixture, and stir gently.

  5. Garnish with a mini marshmallow (toasted with a lighter for extra campfire drama) on a cocktail pick.

  6. Sip, close your eyes, and pretend you’re under the stars.
