Creamy Colada Latte: Like a Hug, But in a Mug (or Glass) from Happy Valley Tea

Creamy Colada Latte: Like a Hug, But in a Mug (or Glass) from Happy Valley Tea

.

Alright—truth be told, I wasn’t planning on making something fancy. But I  took a stay cation and wanted to relax. I wanted something that wasn't a lot of caffeine and I could drink in the afternoon.

I had the coconut milk. I had the tea. And once I warmed up that milk with a little vanilla? Let’s just say… we’ve got ourselves a new go-to.

This Creamy Colada Latte is tropical comfort meets Midwest cozy. Coconut-forward, smooth as can be, and just the right amount of indulgent—without the guilt or the booze. Perfect for slow mornings, Sunday afternoons, or anytime you wanna treat yourself without leaving the house.

🥥 Flavor Vibe:

Cozy. Indulgent. Coconut-first.
Sips like a colada, feels like you’re  on the beach reading a book.

📝 What You’ll Need:

  • ¾ cup brewed Tropical Piña Colada HV Tea (hot or iced—whatever suits your mood)

  • ½ cup steamed or frothed coconut milk (yes, you’ll wanna warm it up if going hot)

  • Dash of vanilla extract or cinnamon (I used vanilla—trust me, it’s worth it)

  • Optional: A little dollop of coconut whip

  • Garnish: Toasted coconut flakes + a cinnamon stick (or skip it—no judgment)

🫖 How to Make It:

  1. Brew your Tropical Piña Colada tea—strong and flavorful. Pour it into your favorite mug or tall glass.

  2. Warm up your coconut milk and stir in a dash of vanilla extract (or cinnamon if you’re feelin’ spicy).

  3. Pour that creamy goodness over your tea. Give it a gentle stir

🧊 Serve it Hot or Iced:

  • Hot: Snuggle up and sip slow—perfect for Midwest snow days or early spring mornings.

  • Iced: Pour over ice in a tall glass, add a bamboo straw, and pretend your porch is a beach.

This one’s become a favorite around here—something about that combo of warm coconut and cozy spice just hits right.

So if you’re lookin’ for a little escape in your cup, without the alcohol or the airport, this is your sign. Go steep. Go sip. Go smile.

Joy in every sip. Connection in every cup.
Even better if you’ve got a front porch and five quiet minutes.

Cheers Everyone!
